Based in Maryland, minutes from the District of Columbia, LeneNicole. Candle Co. is a Black woman-owned home-based small business focused on creating safe, high-quality candles that embrace the collective of all things manifested, but not spoken, by our mind, body, and soul. That mantra inspires our motto: candles that express your mind + mood. 

Founder Darlene Parks created LeneNicole. Candle Co. after realizing the impact of spending endless amounts on big-box brand + high-end candles that weren't relatable or reflective of a true feeling or mood and did not exude physical distinctiveness or promote a safe and non-toxic burn.

LeneNicole. Candle Co. puts a dynamic twist on luxury in a jar. Our unique, one-of-a-kind Collections expand on how we all occasionally feel and think, hence our mood.

LeneNicole. Candle Co. offers high-quality candles with extraordinarily concentrated scents. To create our candles, our team uses natural soy wax that is free of synthetic dyes, parabens, and phthalates, as well as premier quality braided wicks. 

Every aspect of our candles has been carefully researched, tested, and approved to produce the highest quality products possible. In addition to natural soy wax, our candles feature lead-free cotton wicks, braided and hand-selected to lessen petro-carbon soot for a clean, non-toxic burn.

Every candle is crafted, poured, and packaged by hand in the smallest quantities to ensure the best craftsmanship possible. Once poured our candles cure for several days to set the wick and fragrance. Each fragrance is burn tested to ensure the highest level of quality before shipping and delivery to you — allowing you to embrace an exhilarating experience and exhale great volumes of your inner mind + mood.

All of our candles feature eco-friendly and reusable jars and lids that can be repurposed into various designs and purposes. Our Signature Collection 10.5oz jars have a sleek black design that will elevate any room or event for a polished finish.

Did you know that glass produced from recycled materials reduces related air pollution by 20% and related water pollution by 50%? 

Recycling glass reduces the amount of waste in landfills that would otherwise be taken up by used bottles and jars.  

We recommend retiring your candle once the wax reaches ½". Although there are many ways to remove the remaining wax from the bottom of your jar, we've found the easiest is to place the candle in the freezer for approximately one hour. Once cold, use a butter knife to gently loosen the sides of the wax away from the jar. Hand wash the container with warm water and soap, dry with a clean towel, and then wipe with alcohol.
